“Verzuz” hosts the “Call Of Duty” tournament with Big Boi and Big Sean against Lil Jon and Lil Tecca
Verzuz Gamez announced the Call of Duty: Vanguard tournament hosted by T-Pain, including performances by Migos.
The Verzuz brand continues to evolve by entering the gaming industry.
Verzuz started out as something to do in quarantine – artists were unable to perform and tour, fans were temporarily stuck at home. No concerts, no shows, festivals, nothing. That was until Verzuz came in and got the party started again.
What started as an online battle between Timbaland and Swizz Beatz turned into a live performance with the dancehall clash between Bounty Killer and Beenie Man. The format advanced to new heights again after the success of battles like The Lox vs. Dipset live at Madison Square Gardens and KRS-One vs. Big Daddy Kane live from Barclays Center.
Now. the Verzuz team is further expanding its reach with the announcement of the Verzuz Gamez tournament. Verzuz has revealed that they will be hosting a world premiere of Call of Duty: Vanguard. T-Pain will host the multi-round gameplay tournament with players including Lil Jon and Lil Tecca vs. Big Boi and Big Sean. See what they did there?
The flyer also reveals a special Migos performance “This WEDNESDAY @CallOfDuty #Vanguard World Premiere !!! Special musical performance by @MIGOS !!! Also a gameplay tournament with some of the HIP-HOP favorites 👀👀 AND many more surprises !! ”
The tournament is scheduled to take place on Wednesday (November 3) from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. PDT and will be broadcast on various platforms – check the flyer for details.
