Title mother of creation, the three works were all designed with a 3D scan of Madonna, pop music star and mother of six. She worked with Mike Winkelmann, also known as Beeple, for 12 months to perfect the works with text and sound.
“When Mike and I decided to collaborate on this project a year ago, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to share my worldview as a mother and artist with Mike’s unique perspective,” Madonna said in a statement via Super rare. “It was an incredible journey of building together an intellectual idea to an emotional story, giving birth to art.”
“Our collaboration felt really natural and we shared a creative vision that has been so rewarding to achieve and now to share with the world,” said Beeple, whose art NFT, Daily: first 5,000 dayssold for a whopping US$69 million at Christie’s in 2021.
First book in the series, mother of nature, takes place in a laboratory showing no signs of life. A branch gradually turns into a flowering tree. The artwork features text by Madonna, according to SuperRare.

The final work of the triptych, mother of technology, takes place in a forest, with a centipede representing technology. This work presents the poetry of Rumi, a Persian poet of the 13th century.
Each work will be offered as a single NFT. SuperRare says they don’t want to speculate on the sale price of each in advance, but all proceeds will benefit the three nonprofits, which help women and children around the world.
MoonPay, a global crypto-payments provider that will facilitate this sale, will also contribute to each charity.
