The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” Becomes Top 100 Hottest Songs of All Time
The Weeknd’s hit single “Blinding Lights” just marked a milestone, as Billboard revealed on Tuesday that the song is now No. 1 on their Greatest Songs of All Time Hot 100 chart.
The synth-rich track, which topped No. 1 for four weeks, broke all records on Billboard’s Hot 100 charts, earning the most weeks in the top five (43 weeks), a top 10 (57 weeks). ) and a top 40 (86 weeks). As a result, “Blinding Lights” surpassed Chubby Checker’s 1960s classic “The Twist” as the No. 1 song of all time, spending 90 total weeks on the Hot 100 Chart.
